ABOUT

HCI 2022 is the 20th in a series of International Conference on the Physics of Highly Charged Ions. The conference covers the following topics on highly charged ions: Fundamental aspects, Structure and Spectroscopy; Collisions with Electrons, Ions, Atoms and Molecules; Interactions with Clusters, Surfaces and Solids; Interactions with Photons, Plasmas and Strong Field Processes; Production, Experimental developments and Applications.

The conference is planned to be held in person on site although the hybrid style is also in consideration in case the pandemic situation prevents many delegates from participating on site. The final decision will be announced later.

Regular fee: 50,000 JPY (after early bird: 60,000 JPY)

Student fee: 25,000 JPY (after early bird: 30,000 JPY)

Support for students and young researcher

There will be limited funds available to support students and young postdocs. To apply the support, please send the following information to hci2022-at-tmu.ac.jp with supporting letter from the supervisor before April 15 May 6.
